Common Treatment Options

Positional Release Therapy (PRT)

PRT is simply the opposite of stretching. The manual therapy works much like unkinking a knotted necklace or rope by pushing together tissues to take tension off "neurological chain links." The therapy is pain-free and is suited for all ages to help resolve pain and tissue dysfunction.

Mulligan Mobilization

Mulligan Mobilization is a unique manual therapy treatment approach combining mobilization with active movement or function. Fundamentally a patient’s pain, restriction or functional loss is eliminated when appropriate mobilization forces are applied during movement.

Muscle Activation

Muscle Activation, also known as applied kinesiology, is a form of superficial reflex stimulation that excites a muscle’s motor neurons to increase strength and stabilization of a joint. Superficial reflex points on the head and body are stimulated by the therapist if PRT does not bring back the strength of the muscle, which will typically occur within one to three treatments.

This is such a great non-invasive way to get relief from pain. My struggle was in my shoulder and hand, the pain was so intense, every time I would lay down my arm would go to sleep and my hand would swell and become incredibly painful. I was sleeping upright in a recliner. The Elevated therapist team worked on my shoulders to give me more range of motion and would ultrasound my wrist and wrap it. It took about 4-5 sessions, but this was 8 months ago, and I have not struggled with it since.

I have now been to two visits and so that might seem like a small sample size; however, my results are immediate and so I feel compelled to share that this is worth your time and money. I had a shoulder surgery about 24 years ago. Approximately 18 years ago, I started feeling serious discomfort in my right shoulder blade up into my neck. I’ve been to numerous medical doctors and chiropractors who have taken x-rays and simply recommended massage and stretching. These doctors did not figure out that my 2nd rib was dislocated. Tim did on my first visit. He got my rib back into place and is helping me with the muscle issues now that this has caused. I feel immense physical relief from the treatment that I have received. I highly recommend PRTI to anyone who is having pain. The treatment they do at Elevated Performance and Rehabilitation works and is effective. Thank you Tim.

Great therapy for sciatica, shoulder instability, and posture correction with highly qualified therapists and personal trainers. They’ve improved my quality of life, both leisure and work tenfold.
