Common Treatment Options

The Wheelhouse Protocol
(Pat. Pending)

The Wheelhouse Protocol (Pat. Pending) is a non-painful integrative manual therapy treatment approach that resolves low back pain typically within 1-3 treatment sessions. The therapy protocol was designed by Dr. Speicher based on 25 years of research and clinical practice and encompasses PRT, therapeutic ultrasound, joint mobilizations, muscle energy and corrective exercise.

Typically in 97% of patients, low back pain resolves within one to three weeks.

Muscle Activation

Muscle Activation, also known as applied kinesiology, is a form of superficial reflex stimulation that excites a muscle’s motor neurons to increase strength and stabilization of a joint. Superficial reflex points on the head and body are stimulated by the therapist if PRT does not bring back the strength of the muscle, which will typically occur within one to three treatments.

Mulligan Mobilization

Mulligan Mobilization is a unique manual therapy treatment approach combining mobilization with active movement or function. Fundamentally a patient’s pain, restriction or functional loss is eliminated when appropriate mobilization forces are applied during movement. Typically, 97% of patients low back pain resolves within one to three weeks.

I came here because I was in intense and desperate pain. I was a single mother raising a child completely by myself, yet I could not get out of bed for an entire month because I was in so much pain concerning my SI joint, and my hip being locked. I had to crawl. I could not work, let alone take care of daughter. I didn’t know what to do. Someone recommended this place to me and so I went. Elevated Performance and Rehabilitation got me walking again and provided excellent care. That intense pain has never returned, although I still struggle with scoliosis and a lot of neck tension, lifelong. I view this place as a miracle in my life!

The therapy and therapists at Elevated are remarkable. The therapy is painless and effective. I walked into my first appointment with constant pain in my hip that prevented me from sleeping and created a lot of discomfort when walking. I walked out of that first appointment with almost no pain and easy exercises and stretches to do daily before returning for my next appointment. I slept pain free that night for the first time in weeks. After just a few appointments, I snowshoed the Lewis Peak trail! I credit the skilled professionals at Elevated. They are so professional, well-equipped with numerous techniques and therapies and genuinely invest in healing their patients with compassion. Thank you Elevated for giving me quality of life back!

I am in my late 30’s and was told by 3 different orthopedic surgeons that I needed a full hip replacement to get rid of my hip pain. Another doctor recommended me to Elevated Performance and Rehabilitation and I am so grateful! All my hip pain is gone. I am a believer!

These guys are miracle workers!! Since getting that adjustment on my SI, I ran my fastest 5-mile training run this year, and I placed 2nd in my age group at the Striders Winter Race Circuit 10K last Saturday. Thank you so much!!

I have been in some type of pain in my hip for MANY years. Being a patient at Elevated Performance and Rehabilitation in Ogden is the best decision I ever made. It has made a huge difference for me. All the staff are amazing and truly care about you and your wellbeing.
